Many of us are interested in lucid dreaming and astral projection. And we search ways to make them more controlled, more useful and more awared.
Here I introduce a method which could give approximately the same results as dreaming, but more quicker and reliable. I don’t claim than it is the best method and it still underconstraction. It is not absolutely new and unique – but not well known. I think it is interesting for many people.

The key ideas of it are:
1. Imagination and common night dreaming are approximately the same function of brain. The difference between them is in brightness and control. Dreams are brighter, but less controlled.
2. Everything you could reach in dreams, you could reach in imagination too.
3. The quality of information you obtain does not depend weather it was dreaming or imagination. It is another mechanism.
4. The deeper you go in imagination (walking in some landscape, for example) the closer it is to dreaming. Pictures became brighter and more stabile. In term of psychology it could be called visual trance.
5. The best results could be obtained then the imagination is produced together with another person. One control process, and one – see. It is impossible while dreaming.
6. The imagination could be passive and active. Passive is then you command it. Active is then you let it be and let it show you what it wants. Originally the “active imagination” was developed by Joung in order to replace dreams analyze of Froid.
7. Each session of active imagination begins from inviting “inner teacher”, spiritual teacher” or “angel” which helps person to go inside and protect him.

I did around 100 sessions to different people mostly with good results and without damage.
The most difficult condition here is to find another person, in who you trust and who agree to help you. And now how. But most people can do A.I. themselves – but it is 10 times weaker.

Here is an instructions for making A.I.

1. Take a responsibility on your self. You are a source of everything in your life.
2. Find quiet place for an hour, switch off the phone and so one. Don’t do it in your bed – you could easily go to sleep. Think about a question you have to the spiritual teacher, or your goal. To have pleasure is a good goal. (Do not expect that past lives will be pleasent if you choose them)
3. Make an image of the see beach and imagine that you are there. Look all around, imagine sounds, clothes and so on. Don’t care about the quality of the picture. It will gradually improve by itself. Some people are very visual and the immediately see the picture. Some people will have only mental images of the landscape. It is not a big difference! It is like a difference between color and BW TV. The message will be the same. Don’t force the images to be like something, but allow them to be as they want.
4. After you get an image of the see beach, walk there for a while. It could take from 1 minute to 30, but 5-10 minutes are usually enough.
5. Invite your teacher in this place. You could imagine a figure coming to you from the distance. Then the teacher came, thanks him and ask his name and his function in your life. In order to receive answers you could make question, and then make your mind calm and wait for any thought in your mind to appear. !!!! If you don’t like anything you met or you don’t no what to do, just command yourself to return back to reality.
6. When the teacher came, ask him (or her!) what he wants to say you before you start.
7. Ask your question. And get the answer or go these a teacher to the specific place. Possible destinations: source of love, source of healing energy, past live, future, source of enlightenment, machine of remote viewing, meeting with dead and other teacher. Believe your feelings, and never do what you don’t want to do.
8. After you feel you are finished thanks the teacher again and say yourself to remember all and feel good and go out.

It is better to write down everything soon – you will remember better. I like to get such recalls and publish the anonymously in this LJ.

I developed a methode of visalisation, which is good to reach love.

The key point in it is that it should be done together. One leads and makes some kind of trance, and another one goes inside.

It works quicker then to go in the inner joyney alone. We could meet there souls of the dead, angels, sources of love, money and healing.

Here I put some information about me from previos letters with different people, I don't want to type it again.

Two years ago one girl said me that she is going to present me very interesting book about a man who lost wife and a bird, but at the moment she gave the book to someone. Actionly, she lost the book.
After 1.5 year, my grandmother was deadly heavy ill, and was very tired with her.
And one evening I understand that I shold go to the night market and bought the book – but I forgot the author and the title.
But I find it – that was “Histories of the bird” by Murakami. All other book of Murakami I read last September when I felt myself sad and started to read a lot in order to stop depression. And I read “Norwegian wood”.
I knew about Misima from books of Murakami, but I never read – may be will…

You may try to read Nabokov (1899-1977) – must be translated.
And from the latest – Pelevin, Sorokin, Peperstain, Lu but I am not sure….

I live alone in my own 1-room appartment in Moscow.
I studied as physic, later as art historian in Moscow Univercity, later i learn psychology myself.
My mother and father are divorsed from my childhood. My father is a professor and now he is married for 9-th time.
I am meeting with girl elder than i.
I was selling pictures of russian naive artist, wrote articles about art and furniture, now works as a private tutor.

Once I was in the Amsterdam and ate to much gallucinagating mushrooms and felt that I am dieing. After that I wrote a verse on English. Most of others are in Russian, so I can send you only it:

Many Russians are crazy about Japan. Every one has passed from a period of interest to something special Japonese. They regard Japan as something exotic, high quality and interesting.
Some study differebt fighting skills, or anime, or movie and so on.
I was studing Reiki system of naturel hand healing by Mikao Usui. Do you know?
I regret about victims of typhoon – i saw photos.
I like Pop and Jazz muzik, but i am not a specialist. I know about simplyred, but never hear it.

Mikao Usui lived in Japan in the end of 19 century. His system based on using “magical” energy which goes from hands of each person. He had several apprentices and in the middle of XX his system goes to the West. You could learn more about it, if you type his name and Reiki in search engine.
It is always pleasant to find new good music – once I found “I saved the world today” – and love this song.
I hope to visit Japan someday… I am not afraid of natural disasters (but looked a lot of photos of the earthquake in the web) … But I hope it finish soon…

I think you mean “wodka” – strong alcohol drink – 40 per cent spirit. I don’t like wodka and prefer beer or sweet drinks or Martini… I don’t drink often… Vodka is cheap and drinking is a problem here.
I was on a birthday party yesterday. There were many art historians from the University. We discuss poor situation with museums, and one told a lot about his journey to Norway.

I spent in Mexico 5 weeks as a tourist. I collected a huge amount of money, but hadn’t chance to spent them. But I dreamed t go to Mexico because I was fan of Carlos Castaneda – do you know him?
I traveled all around Mexico from the city to North border with US. Mexican speaks Spanish, but 1/3 of them are native Indians. There are no African-black people in Mexico.

One democratic leader here is Irina Hakamada. Her roots are from Japan and it is told that her brother is seating in Japanese parliament. Do you know the name? She was a candidate for presidential election.

The name of the cat is Busia. She is crazy cat – she often eats herself and cry. Actually, it is my mother cat and it lives in her apartment.
Castaneda told he was taught by Indians as shaman and wrote many books about his apprentice.
I like ruins very much especially Roman ruins in Europe. And Mexican – too.
Hakamada stands for presidency this year as a democratic leader against Putin but received only 2 percents.

Befor Busia we have 3 cats one by one called Masia, that cames from Fantomas, who is French movie hero. But last Masia run away in 1994 on the dacha, and my mother found Busia. But the name Busia is meanless, or maybe “Businka” – small jewel on the needle. I like your cat – thank you.

I read about Sibuia – is it a shopping centre?
What do you shop often – clothes? Does fashion change often in Japan?

I see several forein movies about Japan: Lost in translation, Kill Bill, Last Samurai and Vasabi. What do you think about them?

Well....Actually,I don't know much about Russia. None of Russian words comes to me. What is Moscow like?

Moscow is like circle with many radians. The Kremlin is in the centre. Red square is near. Lenin buried on the Red Squere. He is a mummie now - I saw him.

I should visit it 2 times a week, but I don't sing good, and do it mostly for my friends there.

1. I finished with my pupil – she will go to school. But we don’t satisfy each other. Anyway, I have to find new source of money.
2. Today I go to the notarius – to get my grandmother property list - she died in April, and I am new owner. (inheritance)
3. I install in my mothers house SAT TV – there Japan TV is included.
4. I go to Sankt-Peterburg on a weekend on seminar. I will buy ticket today.

I lost my English dictionary, so “mummy” and “radius” is what I remember of English words. Maybe now I type them correct? First is a body of a man, which kept for ages.

I don't know your group, unfortunately. I wasn't a naive artist - I was a collector of naive art. And I still have several hundrets pictures of different artists together withbmy mother. But I stop to make efforts to sell them, because I tired and wanted something more from my life. But some times I sell something. We collected mostly Pavel Leonov - old man from the village, 82 years old.

I do now my own pictures, but not dor sale, - for pleasure - and presents them to my friends.
I want to visit Japan someday, but i haven't enogh money now - and visa.

I am now interested in gipnosos lucid dreams and pastlives - what do you think about all this stuff?

I had several lucid reams this night – the dreams in which I know that I am dreaming. I try to fly and change things. Gypnos – is a state of conscience, made by another person and simillar to sleep, there different interesting things could happened. Past life is a life before our life in another body.
In Britain I was in 1997 this exhibition of Pavel Leonov. There i stood in the house of James Joung, musician, in Oxford, and also in Scotland.

I deal with Leonov because of my Mother who studied naive art since 1980 and started to collect pictures. We sell him well abroad. I stoped to sell Leonov, because understand that it is not good to connect family and work – and other reasons.
Of courrse I know good Leonov and others – Pizhova, Romanenkov, Belich. I often visit Leonov in his village 320 km (5 hours on a car) from Moscow. He is specific person, a little bit crazy.
After I stop the work I lived 3 yers like one weekend. – but now i work as private tutor.
On weekend i often go to our dacha – village house 120 km from Moscow on the memorial field of the “battle pour Moscou” by Napoleon, 1812, named Borodino. Or i am visiting friends, see movies and TV, walk around and read.
I change from pessimism to optimism depending on my mood. If I feel my self ill, tired, and alone – i became pessimist, but soon i could find something interesting – and it give me new vawe of energy.

Most of my friends are girls 
There some ex-girl friends, or those i was in love, or just classmates.

I have friendship with Lisa Lerer (32) and Sasha (her husbend). They live in my block-house. Lisa has 2 children from first husbend. We often speek, see movies and so on. Lisa is a folklor singer, but now sing not often. Sasha is a musucian also but work as a translator from Eanglish.

Another my friend is Philipp(31), who lived in Japan and often visits it; I know him from my birth. He works in the oil consalting company. He was never married.

Lena (28) is my friend from the University. She has a Livejournal account with big amount of friends. She is also interestid in folklor and traditional style of movement: lubki and lagenie. She was never married, but have romance every half year.

I understand your cultural shook of Russia – even I feel it when return from abroad. Moscow airport is not pleasant place.
We have large garden near dacha - 2400 sq.m but use only a half of it. We have fireplace, but I should take care about fire because of dry grass around and old benzine-station near.
I never did barbecue on the dacha. I traveled on dacha only with my girl – friends (not romance except one ), not with big companies. We bought the dacha when it was cheep 3 years ago. I used to visit it once in 1.5 month and stay several days. I wasn’t there since August – but my mother was.
I don’t use nickname. Of course I know Kurosava – I saw his historical and samurai movies several years ago. Much more I love Takeshi Kitano. In childhood I read Kobo Abe.
I saw Japanese movies “The ring”, “Battle Royal”, old stuff about Godzilla and … “Last samurai” with Tom Kruz. I practice manual healing system of Mikao Usui. I like graphics of Hokusai and Hirosige. I read Suzuki about Dzen.
I like Chakovsky but not hear him often – I prefer Mozart, Bach, “Per Gunt”, Vivaldi, Brams.
It’s OK to exchange 2 times a week – then I was working I had a role to answer in the same day – but it for business only.

On Friday was horrible day – on the evening I went to the park with Tania (who is ¼ Japanese and 52 years old) and her 2 years old grandson. In the park we found absolutely drunk girl around 20 who was seating on the cold ground crying and almost out of mind. Something happened between her and her husband and she find her flat absolutely empty. We tried to save her and called her parents to take her and went home. But her mother didn’t find her! So we did something wrong…

I am not ashamed about your theme - because regard it as a very imortant part of culture. I know interesting person named Koliada who tells me about theory came, as he said, from old villafe scorcersors that In Russian Mat is Mother languige, and so connected to nature and so it is magical languige – like Sanskrit in India. But it is not a magical languige of meditation like Sanskrit, but magical languige of doing. So that Koliada called Mat as “iazik brani” that also means the languige of War.
And so on – it was interesting.
Also I know – but not closely – Plutzer, who is an author of the dictionary of Russian Mat. I didn’t read it.

What you will do in your company?
I wrote one poem bout a wonderful girl living in the village and many verses about every thing that was for me important. My story is about the same girl – how she lost with her friend in the forest.

I read about the earthquake in the Net. Do you feel it?
I never feel earthquakes in my life… But we have terrorists and revolutions in Moscow from time to time.
Saturday morning I stood at home, reading detective and surfing the web, and now I will go to guests on a birthday to one married girl who studies Byzantine ancient Christian art in the Art history institute.
Tomorrow i expect that my father will come to me and my mother in guests – they are divorced. I didn’t see father for 3 months.
On Friday was horrible day – on the evening I went to the park with Tania (who is ¼ Japanese and 52 years old) and her 2 years old grandson. In the park we found absolutely drunk girl around 20 who was seating on the cold ground crying and almost out of mind. Something happened between her and her husband and she find her flat absolutely empty. We tried to save her and called her parents and went home. But her mother didn’t find her! So we did something wrong…
I use MAT in some situation – if I am angry, if i am joking. I always use it in thinking and I like punk-groups, who use MAT in their texts.
I’ve read one study there was said that Russian languge is “longer” (words are longer) and so people speak slowly 1.5 times than English. It was not good in the time of cold war, because commands should pass slowly. But researcher found that in the battle people speak only on Mat, and it is 2-3 quicker than common language.
Because all Mat based on 5-10 roots, which are short and expressive. Any situation could be described on Mat, if you replace normal words in Mat words in some order (like English – “go away” = “fuck away”)

Second use bad words in soft manner, replacing mat roots with common but sounds similar. One of such words is connected with Japan. Sorry to tell it – but it could be interesting – if you don’t want to know you should not read next 20 words. In Russian you can say “Japan mother” (iapona maty) in the meaning “fucken mother” (“iebana maty” or “iob tvoiu maty”) I don’t use this expression, but yesterday heard.

I like Bulgaria, Mexico, and Turkey – wonderful nature and cheap. From more developed countries I like Italy. My mother was born in Rome because my grandfather was a diplomat, and so we have strong Italian connections.
Also I travel a lot in Russia and formed USSR. I was in far North in Kola Peninsula, on Ladoga lake, In Crimea on the Black see, on Baikal lake in Siberia, and all around Moscow.

I want to travel somewhere on the East – India, Thailand, China, Japan. I need sea and mountains. As soon I have enough money I will start to journey again.

I like “Sex in the Sity” serial movie. From other I like Takeshi Kitano, Peter Greenway, Jakie Chan, Spilberg, Russian old comedies, Bertalochi, documental movie. I don’t know about “Friends”.

All my weekend was about art history. I was on a birthday where were only art historians, and they discuss museums, politic and journeys. Everything occurred to be bad, except journeys. Sunday my father came to me and my mother and brought some presents for my birthday which was 4 September. He is a professor in the University and he has several student from Asia and Japan. They studying Russian art. And My mother is a science director in a big Museum of West Art. So they have a lot of professional conversation.
On the evening I read detective called “economical thriller” about contemporary Russia. To day I will go on public lecture about Indian tantra and other mystique stuff. But I still at home and time is going on…

It is cheap to travel inside Russia, especially by train. But trains are very long journey – it takes 1 week to go from Moscow to Vladivostok. I can fly to Vladivostok for 600 dollars – and may be go back…
I can go to Turkey for 150 dollars return, Europe is around 300, Mexico – 1000.
It’s pity that Japan is so expensive – it means that I have to collect several thousand dollars to travel inside it. (If you know peoples who could buy pictures of Russian naive artists – it could be possible – I still have a big collection of pictures)
I understand your feelings about the events. I often trapped in something like Reality Show when something happened. Now I stopped look TV, and take it out of my house, because it eats too much time and attention. But I look it my mothers house.

When I was in School I don’t like winter because I don’t like cold and skiing lessons. But letter I began to like snow, cold days with sun and skiing. He lived in Great Britain and recently dead. He should be in English. In Hokkaido is Orthodox church where priest is Japanese.

You are so lucky – you life is so simple. : ) I falled in love often in my life and had several girlfriends. But ones I loved most strongly are too far from me… All my former girlfriends are still my friends. I include here a photo from my birthday where some of them are seen. Soviet Union was not perfect nation. Especially for me. If it still existed, we never will speak each other. But it does not mean that contemporary Russia is much better.
In Soviet Union I have to stay in querying for food, and there was not many interesting books. It was uneasy to go abroad. But education was good and free, there wasn’t terrorists, inflation, extensive crimes. And we were sure it would be forever. There was not advertising and money was not so important. Many simple people in province lived better in the USSR.
Books, travel and possibilities to earn money are important for me, so that I prefer Russia of 90th. What is happening now is not clear, but things go worse.

I just returned from Sankt-Peterburg. My mother bought a new car – Skoda – made in Cheh republik. But she afraid to take it from the shop.
I saw a Japanese TV on Sat. – about possible earthquakes in Tokio.
In Peterburg my relatives have to sale their flat because a restorant behind them. And tommorow I will buy a new computer for my mother. So it is a period of a big shopping.
Today i read a book about healing system there a piece of ise is put on a neck. Tried to do it.

I was buying new computer for my mother – she received grant on it; then I worked with satellite receiver – I spoiled it and then repaired.
Today I put some my verses on the Net in the special Russian Web site for verses. 120 people read them!

I preferred Moscow because it richer and lighter city. Sankt-Peterbourg is poor and depressive. But now it becomes better. Anyway, most of my friends are in Moscow, and I feel myself in Moscow like a fish in the water.
And new gues on your work, do they like you?
Of course Mat could be used to express positive feelings (“pizdato”, “ohuitelno” = wonderful). And in Japanese – is it the same?

What you wrote could happened in 50th years, when USSR try to show it as a perfect nation. It not so simple, was it or not. It was not in general, but some elements were.
Remeber, I live 17 years of my life in the USSR, the bigest part, and I see many poors and so on.

I studied art history in the University, but after I felt strong interest to psychology – but mostly to its practical part which could help people. I read different books on rebithing, hypnosis, family constellations of Helinger, “voice dialogue” by Stones, active visualisation by Young – and experiment with me and friends.
Unfortunately I never was in Japan and I don’t know Japanese…
Murakami books completely translated on Russian – so i read him on Russian.
Now for my is most interesting connection between visualization and unconsciousness.
Last 3 months I work as private tutor for a schoolgirl. She will come soon.
Sometimes I help people with different type of psychological methods.
What do you do know? What are you interested on?

Most of all I like novels because I can live inside a long text. I prefer contemporary authors because for me it easy to connect me with hero of my temps. I feel myself similar to the heroes of Murakami because they are of my age – around 30, don’t like to do what he doesn’t want to do and want to understand truth, anyway.
Yesterday I was in the cinema “Celestial Captain and future world”. I’ve got fun and pleasure.
Today I had a lesson with apprentice from school – and for me it is a lesson of educational psychology too. She doesn’t want to know history and geometry – and I have to understand what to do with it.
Today I was on a practice group there we work with body tensions. There was shown interesting method of relaxation – then one move hands of another.
Tomorrow I will go to one person to make guided visualisation – the practice I like very much.

I started to learn psychology when I finish University so I am some how out of system. Most of my University friends are Art historians. I read “ Murakami’s “Histories of the Birs”, “Danzu, danzu, danzu,” “End of the World”, “Hunting on the sheep”, Norvegian Wood, Sputnick, South of the border. I started reading and can’t stop. Murakami is one of the most popular authors here. Many of my friends read him.
I think express not only Japanese emotions but universal. So I have the same often.
I like Italy very much and was there 2 Times; my mother was born in Rome in a family of Russian Diplomat. So I know some Italian.
Last three months I work as private tutor for money, but my interest is visualisation, unconsciousness, hypnosis, folklore and naive art, and past lives. I often do some visualisation with different people with different goal – exploring inner spaces, problem resolving, past memories and pleasure.
I was educated as art historian in the Moscow University and most of my friends are them.

I draw pictures for my own pleasure as well write poems and a novell. So I am not a professional artist but artist in the style of life and perception.
I have different works from time to time, but I don’t like to work a lot. But I always find a way to earn and/or receive money.
Has Koto strings? In Russia we have cold winters, but not in Moscow. Is could from –15 to 0 in winter which longs from November to April. In Siberia is much colder. –40 is normal.
It is still last autumn here, no snow and rainy. Days are shot.
We have a lot of empty cold spaces in Russia, which is 44 times larger then Japan, but Moscow is crowdy large city with more than 10 million habitants. The population of Russia is 145 million people, which is similar to Japan, but near 40 millions of Russians live abroad in ex-Soviet republics.

What I do if I am in love depression? I start to read Murakami :)
Really I am in love depression because 5 September I learned that girl whom I loved for last 10 years is married again on our old friend. We had a long story of relationship, it uneasy to explain all, but anyway she was very important to me. And she is a wonderful being, but there is no place for me in her life now.
As I understand, my feelings depend of the situation, but the situation is only my conception about reality. I can’t change the situation, so I can’t change the feelings, but I can find myself in the another situation, there another feeling are proper.
This is one of the reasons I went to Japan-guide. I decided to do what I never do. It will anyway create new life.
The second thing is to read long books. Long book creates new world with new problems and new future. You should try to read Carlos Castaneda, or Klaus Joehle “The Messenger”. They are available on the Net in English. (http://lovebook2.tripod.com/)
Movies are also good.
To have future is very important to go out of depression. We have future if we want something. So any desire is important and could help, no matter how much is strange. I should search in yourself for what you want and do it.
It is important to travel, sleep, good eat, and laugh – see comedies. Also do not be alone – go to any evening group or training. “Life spring” are good trainings. Do you know Reiki natural healing system origin from Japan (Dr. Mikao Usui)? Useful.
Kakao, coffee, beer, banana and some herbs (St. Jouns herb) could improve your mood.
It is very good to tell someone everything that happened with you – or write it down. If you want – you could send me all your story.

I never work in big firms, but always have different small works which gave me plenty of time. I was private tutor, journalist and art seller.
My weekend was not a wonder, but it was good. I read books, walk around and went to friends and chat.

And I lost my job with apprentice – she goes to school. So I could rest until end of the month. When I will work on the exhibition.
I live 6 subway station from Kremlin – 20 minutes. In is not centre, but not suburb. And I walk 10 minutes to the station. My district regards to be good, but I am bored of it, because know it too much well.
